Teuta Metra used to be a well-known reporter and newsreader for Albanian radio and TV channels before she moved to the Netherlands. After leaving her country, emigrating to Rotterdam, she turned her hand to fiction.

     The first book, ‘Per Dashurine’, is published in Albanian, her native language. ‘The Sin’ is her first novel in English, followed by "Nowhere Girls". In Albania, Teuta Metra studied Albanian language and literature at the University of Tirana. In the Netherlands, she now teaches Albanian language and culture at the OSCE in The Hague.
